What We Do
Oleoalmanzora is a recently created company in the Spanish olive sector. It is an agroindustrial project promoted by José Sánchez Parra, a fan of EVOO, with a long tradition of several generations of olive growers who have been transforming and adapting olive cultivation systems to the latest environmentally friendly technologies in order to obtain an EVOO of the best quality.
The company has four farms with more than 30,000 olive trees in super-intensive production of the Arbequina and Koroneiki varieties.
The main activity of the company is none other than transforming the fruit of its select farms into gourmet Extra Virgin Olive Oil, making authentic olive juice of the highest quality, a premium olive juice, available to the consumer.
To do this, they take care of the entire production process of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, from the cultivation and management of the olive plantations, the correct harvesting of their fruits at the optimal time of veraison, the proper transportation, the correct grinding by first pressure in cold (only through mechanical procedures) and adequate storage in an inerted cellar. With all this, this process guarantees that the EVOO reaches the consumer with its properties intact and unique flavor.
The production process begins with the early harvest of the olives in the month of October, by mechanical means that does not damage the fruit, to obtain an oil of the highest quality with only 0.1 degrees of acidity.
The speed of transport to grinding, together with the low mixing temperature, hygiene control and quality protocol of the entire process, are the keys to our quality. To maintain quality once produced, storage is carried out in inerted stainless steel tanks in a winery at a controlled temperature, and final packaging in dark glass, to maintain the gourmet Extra Virgin Olive Oil as best as possible.
